Mythic. The Art of Living.
Art is the raison d'être of Mythic and the starting point of this entire project. From the beginning we sought to create an open and innovative space, in which art played a leading role and served as an inspiration to the rest of the establishment.
For this we ask for help from PICHIAVO, some internationally renowned Valencian artists, and we ask for their collaboration in this ambitious project. His answer was to paint two incredible murals in Mythic, one in the reception and one in the inner courtyard, filling the entire space with life and color, and turning the establishment into a veritable gallery.
Mythic is the first of a group of hotel establishments created to get to know and enjoy Urban Art, as well as the city that hosts it. Each establishment has a series of original works by a renowned artist from the city.
Our collection of establishments collaborates with artists, offers information on cultural and artistic activities, and organizes tours to visit the most important works of Street Art in the city.
URBAN ART IN VALENCIA
In Valencia, art has taken to the streets, literally.
It can be said without any shame that Valencia is a sanctuary of art and creativity. Proof of this are its deep-rooted musical tradition, its fallas artists, its daring and futuristic buildings and its constant capacity for innovation.
In this way, more and more artists have found in Valencia the perfect place to leave their mark, permeating the streets and buildings with colorful murals. Word has spread, and the most provocative and daring expressions of street art are flooding the city.
The Barrio del Carmen, just a few minutes walk from Mythic, is the greatest exponent of urban art in Valencia. One only has to walk through its streets to discover the different artistic expressions full of social criticism, satire, costumbrismo, and even some with clear messages of solidarity and hope.
